GATSBY PARTY
Frock up and party on Live the extravagant style of Gatsby in real life at our Gatsby Party. Inspired by the roaring twenties, we recreate an evening of fascinating style, sparkling drinks, jazz music and opulence. This high-end cocktail party will be complete with themed music, entertainment and classic cocktails. Get into the groove for the evening and dress up as a fun flapper or wear a debonair vintage suit. If you don't have room in your suitcase for your costume, it's no problem. You’ll be able to get fabulous 20's style accessories at our onboard stores or make a stylish headband at one of our workshops. Our Gatsby Party promises a night of seductive glamour, so leave your inhibitions at the door and give in to the extravagance of the era. The Gatsby Party will be the new cocktail night on all cruises 3 nights and longer. On longer itineraries with multiple cocktail nights, the Gatsby Party will feature as one of the cocktail nights (the others will be the original cocktail theme).
BIANCO, THE P&O WHITE PARTY
White it out Dress in your most dazzling white attire and dance away at Bianco, The P&O White Party. The top deck will be a complete white-out with special effects, expertly mixed white cocktails and a specially-designed dance floor so you can shake it while our DJ pumps out the tunes. Plus our white selfie wall means you can capture this night forever. Kids and adults of all ages welcome to attend the party. There is also a special Kids White Out Party held during the cruise. Bianco is available on all cruises of three nights or more. On two and three night cruises, Bianco will be held on the night of sailaway on the first day as you leave port.
BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY
An A+ Party An A+ Party! Reminiscing about your high school dances? Get a hit of nostalgia and go back to school for a night with our Back to School Party. Held in the Dome or Connexions this adults-only event will be sure to get those toes tapping with our DJ spinning some of your favourite retro hits to take you back to the good old days where your biggest worry was what to have for lunch. Costumes aren’t a must but they're certainly encouraged! Dress up as your favourite teacher or come as your 18-year old self. It's up to you! TURTLE COVE 2-5 YEAR
A flipping good time This is the place for the smallest member in your family! We just know they’re going to be all smiles when they spend time in Turtle Cove. We put our best thinking caps on when we created the range of games, toys and activities for the kids aged 2-5 years old, which means they’re not only fun but they’re educational too! Plus, when playing in Turtle Cove your kids will be well supervised by our experienced youth staff. To arts and crafts, theme nights to talent shows – the hardest part of Turtle Cove is deciding what to do first. Please make sure your child is toilet trained, otherwise they won't be able to join in the fun at Turtle Cove. We also offer children from 2 years of age, who are in nappies, the opportunity to participate in the activity program without the requirement of a parent or guardian to be in attendance. However, parents and guardians must be available at all times to change their children’s nappy when contacted by our Youth team. As always, there are a limited number of places available in our youth centres and entry is a first come first served basis.
SHARK SHACK 6-9 YEARS
Big bites of fun There is so much fun for your kids to sink their teeth into at the Shark Shack, our special club created for kids aged 6 -9 years. It’s the perfect place for them to make new friends and play with kids their own age. Plus we put our best thinking caps on when we created the awesome range of games, toys and activities, which means they’re not only fun but educational, too. Our experienced Youth Staff are always there to lend a hand and supervise the fun. We have scavenger hunts, jewellery making, computer games, dance lessons and theme nights – just to name a few. With so much to do at Shark Shack the kids will be fast asleep before their heads hit the pillow each night.
HQ 10-13 YEARS
Hang out headquarters We know that teenagers can be hard to please on holiday but when you’re on a P&O cruise, you don’t have to worry! That’s because we’ve created HQ. It’s the ultimate chill zone made just for them so they can have the coolest holiday ever. We think (and we know they’ll agree) that it’s the place to be for kids and teens aged 10 -13. They can make new friends, play video games, check out movies and hang out with our incredible Youth Staff. Plus if that’s not enough, there is a whole range of activities available. From singing their hearts out at karaoke sessions to commanding the spotlight at the talent show to playing in a rock and roll band – they’ll be having so much fun at HQ you’ll be begging them to come hang out with the family!
HQ+ 14-17 YEARS
Cool + HQ+ is the coolest hang on the ship. Specially created for 14-17 year olds so the teens can leave their little brothers and sisters behind and chill out with people their own age. We designed this space with them in mind and that’s why they have their own special lounge where they can have the best holiday ever! It’s a place to make new friends, play video games, check out movies and interact with our incredible Youth Staff. If that’s not enough, there is a whole range of extra activities available.
