Harmony of the Seas: Top Tips with Luke

After launching on May 22nd, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas is officially ready to set sail from the UK. The 1,188 foot ship is now welcoming passengers to indulge the most spectacular on-board experience to date. With everything from a stroll through ‘Central Park’ a sanctuary filled with 12,000 live plants, to watching the amazing ice shows on its very own ice rink, there’s always something to do on the Harmony of the Seas. Our very own Luke tested out the ships best highlights during it’s launch and has given us all the exciting details below.

Why choose Harmony?

“It has the more activities/things to do than any other ship at sea! It’s like a floating town, with a central park, promenade & boardwalk. You’ll never be bored! The overall feel of a Royal Caribbean cruise is very relaxed, smart casual in the evening but the decision is really up to you! Your time on-board can be a big adventure or the most relaxing holiday you can imagine, the choice is really yours.”

Top 5 Must-Do’s on Harmony:

1. The Ultimate Abyss

Make your way through the creatures mouth and prepare yourself for the plunge down this swirling slide which will take you past 10 levels of the ship, twisting and turning as you go. This 72-metre long slide is the worlds tallest slide at sea and its 100-foot plunge is guaranteed to leave you breathless!

Luke’s TOP TIP on Harmony:

“My number 1 tip would be if you’re wanting a Balcony cabin, make sure you book one at the back of the ship overlooking the promenade. When the aqua theatre shows are on, you can watch it from your own private balcony!”
