Carnival Fascination has continued Carnival Cruise Line’s relief efforts following Hurricane Irma by delivering relief supplies to St. Maarten residents who were impacted by the recent storm.
Carnival Fascination delivered pallets of critical supplies such as water, canned food and other items during a call into St. Kitts, which was to be delivered to the island of St. Maarten. The donation was made during the ships current seven-day cruise which departed from San Juan.
Other Carnival ships will be making similar relief donations and dropping them off during upcoming cruises to assist destinations that have been hit hard such as St. Thomas, Grand Turk, Barbuda and Key West.
Carnival Cruise Line’s parent company, Carnival Corporation along with the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund and the Micky and Madeleine Arison Family Foundation are pledging up to $10 million in funding and in-kind support for relief and the rebuilding efforts in Florida as well as throughout the Caribbean following Hurricane Irma.
