If you’re thinking of cruising, there’s a very good chance you’re considering a Carnival cruise. Growing since our founding in 1972, Carnival Cruise Line — “The World’s Most Popular Cruise Line®” — now carries millions of guests every year. Our newest ship is Carnival Panorama®, which debuted in December 2019. This year, definitely look for the transformed Carnival Radiance™ and the game-changing new Mardi Gras™. And while it’s a little further out, we’re already excited about Carnival Celebration™, coming in 2022! Carnival Cruise Line is proud to be part of a family of companies owned by Carnival Corporation, which includes sister lines Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Cunard Line, among others.
The dining dress code onboard all Carnival ships is ‘Cruise Casual’, which means no shorts or swimwear, but jeans and t-shirts etc are fine. There will also be one or two optional Carnival Cruise formal nights known as ‘Cruise Elegant’ evenings during your sailing, on which you are invited to don more formal attire such as a ball gown, cocktail dress, or suit.
When it comes to dining, Carnival offers plenty of options to suit everyone’s needs. Choose to reserve a table for either an ‘Early’ or ‘Late’ sitting, or opt for ‘Your Time’ open-seating, which offers a more flexible approach to dining on a first-come-first-served basis. Be sure to save at least one evening to treat yourself at a speciality restaurant too.
There are plenty of breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and snack options onboard, with speciality restaurants, main dining rooms, and more casual low-key options.
From Pan-Asian specialities to freshly cooked pizza and mouth watering burgers, Carnival Cruise Line has a restaurant to suit all palates. Highlights include Guy’s Pig & Anchor BBQ, Mongolian Wok and Pizzeria del Capitano. If you’re looking for a more classic cruise ship dining experience, the Main Dining Room is always on hand, while casual eats can be found at the Lido Marketplace.
While they may not be included in your cruise fare, Carnival Cruise Line’s impressive speciality restaurants are well worth splashing out on. Popular choices include Emeril’s Bistro, Seafood Shack and Bonsai Sushi. For a truly elevated mealtime, book yourself a spot at the Chef’s Table and enjoy fine dining and a private tour of the kitchen.
Every one of Carnival’s “Fun Ships”® is a unique floating resort designed with your fun in mind. Venture out of your spacious stateroom and experience the outdoor areas, wonderful restaurants, friendly casino, relaxing lounges, invigorating spa, exciting nightclubs and duty-free shopping. Come aboard and see for yourself.
Being all over the map can be a great thing. We should know. Our “Fun Ships” cruise to well over 60 destinations including: The Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and even Europe. You will sail away on one of our floating resorts, each an amazing destination itself.
